is a graduate of the Medical School of Milano with a grade of 9.77 (Excellent) and holds a Specialty in Orthopedics and Traumatology with absolute excellence and academic praise from the same university. He showed a special interest in podiatry with publications, operations and teaching experience as a Lecturer at the Podiatry, Nursing and Medical School of the University of Milan with collaborators such as Prof. Parrini, Prof. Cabitza, Prof. Jacchini.

Upon his return to Greece, he joined the medical team of Dimitris Alexakis and performs arthroscopic and open orthopedic operations at the Orthopedic Clinic for Sports Injuries at the Euroclinic of Athens. At the same time, he specializes in diagnostic ultrasound and biological treatments, while he has a certificate from the University of Pavia for local treatment with hyperbaric oxygen.

Dr. Vassilopoulos is active in the sports field, with experience in managing teams and athletes of all levels. He has been a sports doctor in several teams in Milan, with a top placement in the Italian U18 Rugby national team, in the American Football champions RAMS, but also in the supportive physiotherapy center of MILAN FC DELTA.

It is an elite member of the Interamerican Medi System health network. In addition to the Salamina clinic (Kanari 2), he accepts privately at the Athens clinic (Vournazou 31 - Ampelokipon Metro).

Collaborates with Euroclinic, Athens clinic, HYGEIA - MITERA, ERRIKOS DYNAN.

He is a scientific partner of the rehabilitation center PERFORMANCE 22 – OAKA - MAROUSI

He was Secretary General of the Hellenic Educational Center of Milan and of the Greek community of Milan in the period 2013-2015.
